Resumen


A neurociência visa resolver o problema da consciencia propondo modelos neuronais baseados em conhecimento neurobiológico. A pergunta central refere-se à representativida de dos modelos, se de fato eles representam aquilo a que se propõem. Existem cerca de seis modelos concorrentes: MultipleDraft, Global Workspace, Dynamic Core, Global Neuronal Workspace, Somatic Markers Hypothesis, e Neurodynamic Model. O objetivo é apresentar os modelos a través de estudos comparativos e, em seguida, analisar a coerência e a plausibilidade dos mesmos, i.e., se os modelos realmente explicam a ‘consciência’ e suas propiedades em termos neuraisou se identificam apenas mecanismos neurobiológicos subjacentes no cérebro.
